SAINTS WELL REPRESENTED ON 2018-19 GNAC ACADEMIC ALL-CONFERENCE SQUAD
WINTHROP, Mass. – Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Commissioner Joe Walsh is pleased to announce the 2018-19 Academic All-Conference Teams, as 1,030 student-athletes have garnered recognition this year. In order to be eligible, a student must have a 3.25 cumulative grade point average during the academic year and have reached second-year academic status.

ENGLISH & MCDONAGH EARN GNAC ALL-CONFERENCE HONORS
BOSTON, Mass. – Senior outside hitter Erik English (Simi Valley, Calif.) and junior setter Seamus McDonagh (Long Beach, N.Y.) have been named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Men’s Volleyball All-Conference team, it was announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon. English earns First Team honors while McDonagh was named to the Second Team. Junior John Carroll (Massapequa, N.Y.) was the Emmanuel representative on the GNAC All-Sportsmanship team.

SAINTS BOW OUT OF GNAC TOURNEY TO TOP-SEEDED RIVIER, 3-0
(Nashua, N.H.) Top-seeded Rivier University was too much for Emmanuel College on Thursday evening in Great Northeast Athletic Conference men's volleyball Semifinals action, sweeping the Saints 3-0 (25-22, 25-22, 21-25) at the Muldoon Center. The Raiders, who are ranked 13th in the most recent AVCA National Poll, improve to 24-17 overall while EC wraps up the year with a 21-13 record.

BOSTON, Mass. - Emmanuel College senior outside hitter Erik English (Simi Valley, Calif.) blasted a career-high 26 kills to power #4 Men’s Volleyball past visiting #5 Lasell College, 3-2, in come-from-behind fashion in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Quarterfinals Tuesday evening on the Andy Yosinoff Court.

MEN'S VOLLEYBALL NOTCHES 20TH WIN WITH GNAC SWEEP OVER JWU & LASELL
PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Emmanuel College men's volleyball team closed out the regular-season with a pair of 3-1 Great Northeast Athletic Conference victories Saturday afternoon, posting wins over host Johnson & Wales University as well as Lasell College to head into the GNAC playoffs with an overall record of 20-11, marking the program's first 20+ win season in eight years.

BOSTON, Mass. - The Emmanuel College men’s volleyball team split with Emerson and Wentworth in GNAC action on Saturday afternoon at Brown & Plofker Gym. The Saints fell to the Leopards in the opener, 3-1, before a strong finish with a 3-0 sweep over Emerson.

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – The Emmanuel College men's volleyball team came out on top in five sets to St. John Fisher College on Saturday afternoon in its fourth and final game in the Cal-Lu-Fornia Classic. With the win, the Saints improve to 11-9 while the Cardinals fall to 16-8.

MEN'S VOLLEYBALL THUMPS PINE MANOR IN SWEEP; ENGLISH SLAMS 1,000TH CAREER KILL
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Emmanuel College Men's Volleyball team picked up a pair of 3-0 victories over Pine Manor College Thursday evening at Brunelli Court. EC senior outside hitter Erik English (Simi Valley, Calif.) picked up his 1,000th career kill during the sweep to become the sixth player in program history to reach the milestone.
