Erskine and Skinner Named to GNAC All-Conference Squad
WINTHROP, Mass. – Emmanuel College’s Alec Erskine (Coventry, Conn.) was named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Men’s Soccer All-Conference Second Team while Ethan Skinner (Guilford, Conn.) was a Third Team selection, it was announced today by the conference office. In addition, senior Jonathan Ferrarini (Hanover, Mass.) was named to the GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team.

In addition, senior Jonathan Ferrarini (Hanover, Mass.) was named to the GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team.
Erskine earns Second Team honors after a stellar rookie campaign with the Saints. The sophomore tied the Emmanuel single-season record for points (26) and goals (11) while setting a new single-season record while sharing the GNAC lead for game-winning goals this year with six. The Connecticut native scored in 10 games during the season including five GNAC contests, ranking sixth in the GNAC in points, seventh in goals and 14th in assists.
Erskine finished his first collegiate campaign with 17 games played and 16 starts, registering 39 shots with 20 on frame for a .513 shots on goal percentage.
Skinner earns Third Team honors out of the Saints backfield for the first time in his career. The sophomore was one of only three players to play in and start all 18 games this year for Emmanuel. He powered the Saints defensive unit to five shutouts on the year including three in GNAC play. Behind Skinner's defensive leadership, the Saints posted a 1.75 goals against average on the year.
Over his first two collegiate seasons, Skinner has appeared in 35 contests, starting 32 of them in the backfield.
The Saints closed out the 2019 campaign with an overall record of 8-9-1 which included a 5-5-1 mark in GNAC play. Emmanuel earned the No. 7 seed in the GNAC tournament and fell to No. 2 Saint Joseph's College (ME) in a tight 2-1 contest in the 2019 Quarterfinals.
