In this episode, Emmanuel's Alex Shipps interviews Ryan Brady of the Class of 2014. He was an accomplished midfielder for the men's soccer team with a strong Emmanuel connection: he is engaged to Jenna Marcello '16 of the women's soccer team and the brother of Patrick Brady '22 of the men's soccer team.     WINTHROP, Mass. – Emmanuel College’s Alec Erskine (Coventry, Conn.) was named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Men’s Soccer All-Conference Second Team while Ethan Skinner (Guilford, Conn.) was a Third Team selection, it was announced today by the conference office. In addition, senior Jonathan Ferrarini (Hanover, Mass.) was named to the GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team.

    NASHUA, N.H. – Two second half goals were the difference as the Emmanuel College men's soccer team powered past host Rivier University, 2-0, this evening under the lights at Joanne Merrill Field. The loss puts the Raiders at 1-9-1 overall and 0-4-0 against the conference while the Saints improve to 5-4-0 overall, 2-1-0 in the GNAC.

    The Emmanuel College Saint’s lost an overtime heartbreaker, despite an early game goal by sophomore Alec Erksine (Coventry, Conn.), as Pine Manor’s Oscar Uriel Roque (Santa Rosa, Calif.) scored both goals including the game winner in the ninety-third minute, 2-1.
  • Second Half Score Stifles Saints in 1-0 Defeat to WestConn

    DANBURY, Conn. – Junior midfielder Afa Reyes (Bridgeport, CT) took a pass from rookie midfielder Kent Eannarino (Brookfield, CT) and blasted home the lone goal of the contest in the 64th minute of play to lead the Western Connecticut State University men’s soccer team to a 1-0 shutout victory over visiting non-conference opponent Emmanuel College on Thursday night. With the win, the Colonials improved to 5-1 overall, while the Saints dropped to 2-2.

    Despite an early match lead, the Emmanuel College Saints dropped their season opener to the Framingham State University Rams as senior Isaac De Souza (Sao Paulo, Brazil) led the way, recording both an assist and a goal on the evening to finish the match, 2-1.
