Ian Chamenko Senior Speech - 2017 Emmanuel College Senior Awards Night

Senior men's cross country and indoor/outdoor track & field athlete Ian Chamenko was the 2017 Senior Speaker at this year's Senior Awards Banquet. Chamenko was also one of the winner's of the HALO'S Award given annually to a senior athlete who best represents Emmanuel with Heart, Attitude, Loyalty, Outstanding athlete ability and success as a Student.

CROSS COUNTRY CAPS SEASON AT NCAA DIII NEW ENGLAND CHAMPIONSHIP MEET

WESTFIELD, Mass. – The Emmanuel College cross country squads wrapped up the 2016 campaign competing at the NCAA Division III New England Regional Championship this Saturday afternoon at Stanley Park. The men’s team finished 31st overall while the women’s team placed 38th.

MEN FINISH 2ND, WOMEN 3RD AT GNAC CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIP

BOSTON, Mass. - Norwich University won both the women's and men's races on Saturday afternoon to sweep the 2016 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Cross Country Championships, which took place at Boston's historic Franklin Park. Emmanuel College had a strong showing in both races as the Men earned Runner Up honors while the women placed third overall in the eight team field.

WINTHROP, Mass. – The Emmanuel College women and Norwich University men have been pegged the favorites for the upcoming Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Cross Country Championships, which will take place on Saturday afternoon at Boston’s Franklin Park, New England’s premier running course.

CROSS COUNTRY HOSTS 11TH ANNUAL SAINTS INVITATIONAL; NORWICH TOPS BOTH FIELDS

BOSTON, Mass. - Emmanuel College hosted the 11th running of the Saints Invitational on the historic cross country course at Franklin Park on Friday evening. Over 350 runners represented 22 colleges and universities, with 18 women's teams competing in the 5k and 22 men's teams in the 8k event. Norwich University finished in first place on both the men’s and women’s race to sweep the Invitational while the host Saints finished in fifth place in the women’s race and sixth in the men’s race.

CROSS COUNTRY COMPETES IN 48TH ANNUAL CODFISH BOWL AT FRANKLIN PARK

BOSTON, Mass. – The Emmanuel College men’s and women’s cross country team competed this weekend at the 48th Annual Codfish Bowl at the historic Franklin Park course. The men’s team enjoyed a solid showing finishing sixth overall in a 16 team field while the women’s squad placed 10th out of 17 team competing.

CROSS COUNTRY RUNS WELL AT BOWDOIN INVITATIONAL

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Emmanuel College cross country team competed this past weekend at the Bowdoin Invitational on the campus of Bowdoin College. The men’s squad finished fourth overall in a four team field while the women’s team placed fourth in a five team field.

SAINTS OPEN 2016 SEASON HOSTING 7TH ANNUAL FENS CLASSIC

BOSTON, Mass. – The Emmanuel College Men's and Women's Cross Country Teams kicked off the 2016 season by hosting the 7th Annual Fens Classic, which featured five teams in both races. The women ran a 2-mile course and the men ran a 5k trek through Boston's historic Back Bay Fens area, finishing with a lap of the track circling Roberto Clemente Field.
