Bio

Dominic Nda joined the Emmanuel staff as an Assistant Coach for the Track and Field programs during the 2018-19 season.

Since joining the staff, Nda has helped the Saints capture both an Indoor and Outdoor Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship. 

Nda earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology from the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2018 where he was a four-year member of the UMB Track & Field program, serving as a team captain from 2016 through 2018.

While at UMass Boston, Nda was a standout student-athlete on the Beacons Track & Field squad.  He earned Little East Conference (LEC) Rookie of the Year honors in 2015 before earning All-Region honors in 2016, 2017 & 2018. Nda was named the LEC's Track & Field Athlete of the Year in 2017 before capping off his senior season with several more accolades. Nda was the 2018 New England Champion in the 100m race, was named the Elmer J. Swanson All-New England MVP and went on to earn All-American honors in the 4x100m relay during the 2018 Outdoor season and the 60m dash in the 2018 Indoor season.

Nda also served as a Police Cadet at UMass Boston as well as a member of the Athletic Facilities staff during his tenure at the harborside campus. He currently works full-time for a private security firm in the Greater Boston area.
