Jordan, Davignon & Potter Garner Major Awards in Inaugural GNAC Indoor Track & Field Season
BOSTON, Mass. – Emmanuel College was well represented on the inaugural Great Northeast Athletic Conference Women’s Indoor Track & Field major awards, announced by the conference office on Thursday, April 9, 2020.

EC junior Amanda Jordan (Stoneham, Mass.) was named the GNAC Women's Field Athlete of the Year, sophomore Kennedy Davignon (Woodstock, Conn.) was named the GNAC Women's Rookie of the Year and EC Head Coach Reava Potter took home Women's Coach of the Year honors.
Jordan finished the indoor track season with a school record-breaking triple-jump attempts at the GNAC Indoor Championship, finishing with a best jump of 35'1", winning the event for EC. She also won the long jump with a personal best attempt of 16'3.75".
Davignon finished the season with a 26-point showing at the GNAC Indoor Championship. The Woodstock, Conn. native won the 200 meter dash with a time of 27.25 seconds, helped to win the 4x400 and placed third in the 400 meter race with a time of 1:02.68.
Potter earns Coach of the Year honors after leading the Emmanuel Women's squad to the inaugural GNAC Indoor Track & Field Championship earlier this February in a landslide. The Saints topped the field with a 174 total points behind Potter's leadership, finishing 60 points ahead of the closest competitor. Potter mentored six individual GNAC championship performances and two relay wins for a total of 14 GNAC All-Conference performances on the Women's side.
In addition to the athletic awards, freshman Cara Martin (Wrentham, Mass.) and sophomore Joseph Reed (Rehoboth, Mass.) represented the Saints on the conference's All-Sportsmanship team, which was established to honor one player from each team in the league for outstanding dedication to sportsmanship and for their portrayal of good sportsmanship, fair play and positive attitude.
