SHELOW NAMED TO GNAC WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM

WINTHROP, Mass. – Junior outside hitter Mary Shelow (Miami, Fla.) has been tabbed to the 2017 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Women’s Volleyball All-Conference team, it was announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning. Shelow earns Third Team honors for the second consecutive season as an Outside Hitter.

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO ALBERTUS MAGNUS IN SEASON FINALE

New Haven, Conn. – The Albertus Magnus College women's volleyball team finished the 2017 season with an overall record of 16-14 as the Falcons swept Emmanuel (Mass.) College in straight sets, 3-0, Saturday afternoon at the Cosgrove Marcus Messer Athletic Center on Senior Day.

EMMANUEL WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL DROPS LAST HOME MATCH TO FRAMINGHAM STATE, 3-0

Boston, MA - Freshman duo Kelly Brinkman (Gardiner, NY) and Brandey Rodriguez (Lawrence, MA) led the Framingham State Rams to a three set sweep (27-25, 25-19, 25-15) of the Emmanuel College Saints with a combined total of 22 kills in Thursday evening’s non-conference match on the Andy Yosinoff Court.

SAINTS SWEPT IN FINAL GNAC TRI-MATCH OF SEASON

BOSTON, Mass. - The Emmanuel College women’s volleyball team dropped a pair of tight Great Northeast Athletic Conference matches Saturday afternoon on the Andy Yosinoff Court. The Saints fell to Regis College, 3-1, in the first match of the day before falling to Lasell College, 3-2 in the final match. The Lasers picked up a 3-1 win in the middle third of the GNAC tri.

UMASS DARTMOUTH TOPS WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL, 3-1

BOSTON, Mass. - Junior outside hitter Amanda LaCroix (East Freetown, Mass.) recorded a match-high 20 kills to power the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Women’s Volleyball team past host Emmanuel College, 3-1 (25-20, 25-19, 18-25, 25-19), Thursday evening in non-conference action on the Andy Yosinoff Court.

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL DEFEATED BY COF RIVAL SIMMONS COLLEGE, 3-1

BOSTON, Mass. – First year outside hitter Jarene Harberts (Naples, Fla.) posted a double-double of 16 kills and a career-high 19 digs to lead the Simmons College women’s volleyball team over visiting Emmanuel College (Mass.), 3-1 (25-11, 25-18, 28-30, 25-8) this evening in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference match at Moore Gymnasium in Boston, Mass. The Sharks win their sixth straight match to improve to 15-9 overall and 8-1 in league play, while the Saints fall to 6-17 and 4-5.

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO RIC AND JWU, 3-0

Providence, R.I.— Junior outside hitter Jillian Ward (Coventry, RI) tallied a match-best 15 kills and added five digs, four service aces and three blocks to help lead the Rhode Island College women’s volleyball team to a, 3-0 (25-12, 25-11, 25-23) win over Emmanuel at The Murray Center on Saturday afternoon. The Saints also dropped a 3-0 decision earlier in the day to Great Northeast Athletic Conference foe Johnson & Wales.

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL DOWNED BY RIVIER

(Nashua, N.H.) The Rivier University Women’s Volleyball team took care of business this evening on home court as they swept visiting Emmanuel College in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference contest held at the Muldoon Gymnasium. With the win, the Raiders improve to 12-8 on the season and 5-2 against GNAC competition while the Saints fall to 6-14 overall, 4-3 in the GNAC.

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL TOPS MONKS; FALLS TO SEAHAWKS IN TRI-MATCH ACTION

STANDISH, Maine – The Emmanuel College women's volleyball squad picked up a hard-fought 3-1 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) win over host Saint Joseph’s College (10-10, 3-3 GNAC) in a road tri-match at the Harold Alfond Center on Saturday. In the second match, Salve Regina University (9-10, 1-3 CCC) blanked the Saints, 3-0, to move EC to a record of 6-13, 3-3 GNAC on the year. The Seahawks went on to post a 3-2 win in the nightcap against Saint Joseph's.

No. 17 MIT SWINGS PAST WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL IN STRAIGHT SETS

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - On the strength of a .519 hitting performance, nationally-ranked No. 17 MIT defeated local foe Emmanuel College, 25-11, 25-13, 25-10, in a non-conference women's volleyball match Thursday night. Junior Abby Bertics (La Jolla, Calif.) led all players with 13 kills while hitting .722 for the Engineers.

OWLS SOAR PAST SAINTS IN WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL ACTION, 3-0

KEENE, N.H.--Senior Rachel Lamic had 14 kills without an error and hit .438 for the night as the Keene State College volleyball team ended a two match losing skid with a 3-0 (25-14, 25-15, 25-16) win over Emmanuel College (Mass.) on Wednesday night at Spaulding Gym.

SUFFOLK STUNS WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL

BOSTON, Mass. - For the first time in program history, Suffolk volleyball defeated Emmanuel, taking down the Saints in straight sets inside Regan Gymnasium Wednesday night. The historic win came by set scores 25-14, 25-22 and 25-18.

NORTHFIELD, Vt. – The Emmanuel College women's volleyball team triumphed in a five-set thriller over Norwich University in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) by scores of 25-27, 25-17, 26-24, 28-26, 12-15, snapping the Cadets' nine game winning streak.
