PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Johnson & Wales University women's lacrosse extended its GNAC winning streak to 33 on Saturday afternoon, topping Emmanuel College 21-5 in Providence, R.I.

Of Note:
Even though Emmanuel got on the board within the first minute of the game on a goal by Saef assisted by Jessica Borduas, the Wildcats answered by going on a 12-1 run. Allison Pazienski scored all six of her goals and had two assists during that stretch.
Marla Medina, Maria Patane and Dani Lydecker would put in the last three goals of the first half as the Wildcats went into the break up 15-3.
The Wildcats slowed the pace down in the second half, controlling the offense and the midfield. JWU would end the game on a 6-1 run.
The Wildcats outshot the Saints, 36-12, and dominated draw controls, 21-4.

Both squads are back in action on Wednesday, April 10 as Emmanuel hits the road to face Norwich University at 7:00 PM in Northfield, Vt. while the Wildcats travel to West Hartford, Conn. to tak on University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) in a 4:00 PM draw.
