WHITE TRAVELS TO AUSTRALIA WITH BEYOND SPORTS PROGRAM

BOSTON, Mass. - Emmanuel College junior Sophia White (Monterey, Calif.) traveled to Australia from July 27th- August 7th for Beyond Sports’ First Annual Australia Women’s Lacrosse Tour.

LUNDWALL NAMED GNAC WOMEN’S DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR; FOUR OTHERS EARN ALL-CONFERENCE HONORS

BOSTON, Mass. – Senior midfielder Savannah Lundwall (Fiskdale, Mass.) has been named the 2017 Great Northeast Conference Women’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Year, it was announced by the conference office on Tuesday Morning. Lundwall also earned Second Team All-Conference honors along with senior attack Emily Baker (Stratham, N.H.) and junior defender Stephanie Warn (Hanson, Mass.). Senior attack Abaigeal Merrigan (Rye, N.H.) and junior defender Sophia White (Monterey, Calif.) earned Third Team honors.

WOMEN'S LACROSSE FALLS TO MOUNT IDA IN GNAC TOURNEY, 12-9

NEWTON, Mass. – The 2017 Mount Ida College women's lacrosse team has rewritten the record books this season and now will turn their attention to another first – hosting the first postseason game in program history. The fourth seeded Mustangs will entertain #5 Emmanuel College on Wednesday at 4:00 pm in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) quarterfinals game at Alumni Field.

BAKER LIFTS WOMEN'S LACROSSE TO 17-14 WIN IN REGULAR SEASON FINALE VS SIMMONS

BOSTON, Mass. – Senior attacker Emily Baker (Stratham, N.H.) matched her season high with eight points, including six goals to lead the Emmanuel College (Mass.) women’s lacrosse team over host Simmons College, 17-14, in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference match this afternoon at Daly Field in Brighton, Mass. The Saints improve to 6-9 overall and 5-4 in league play, while the Sharks fall to 6-11 and 3-6.

LATE FIRST HALF SURGE PROPELS MONKS PAST WOMEN'S LACROSSE

BOSTON, Mass. – The Saint Joseph’s College women’s lacrosse team scored four goals over the final seven minutes of the first half to pull break open a tight game and propel them to a 12-8 win over Emmanuel College Thursday evening in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action at Roberto Clemente Field. The Monks improve to 10-3 overall and 6-1 in GNAC play while the loss dips the Saints to 5-9 and 4-4.

SAINTS GRAB 11-9 ROAD WIN AT NORWICH

NORTHFIELD, Vt. – The Emmanuel College women’s lacrosse team posted an 11-9 win over host Norwich University on Saturday. The Cadets (6-7, 2-5 GNAC) dropped their third game in the last four contests while Emmanuel moves to 5-8 overall (4-3 GNAC).

SALEM STATE DROPS WOMEN'S LACROSSE IN 3OT THRILLER, 14-13

Salem, Mass. – Courtney Smith (Peabody, Mass.) scored seven goals and Chelsea Smith (Tewksbury, Mass.) netted the game-winner with 01:39 remaining in the third overtime as Salem state edged Emmanuel 14-13 on Thursday evening at Alumni Field.

BOSTON, Mass. – The Emmanuel College women’s lacrosse team cruised to a 19-1 Great Northeast Athletic Conference victory Wednesday evening over University of Saint Joseph (CT). The Saints move to 4-7 on the year and 3-3 in GNAC play while the loss drops the Blue Jays to 3-5 and 0-5 in conference.

BOSTON, Mass. –The Emmanuel College women’s lacrosse team scored eight unanswered goals to break open a one-goal game en route to a 19-6 victory over Rivier University Wednesday evening in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action at Roberto Clemente Field. The Saints improve to 3-6 overall and 2-2 in GNAC play while the loss drops the Raiders to 1-10 and 0-5.

MUSTANGS CHARGE PAST SAINTS, 16-4

BOSTON, Mass. – Sophomore middie Alyssa Kelly (Lee, Mass.) recorded nine points on six goals and three assists to power Mount Ida College past host Emmanuel College, 16-4, Saturday afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action at Roberto Clemente Field. During the action Kelly netted her 100th career goal to lift the Mustangs to a 9-1 record on the year and improve to 2-0 in GNAC play while the loss dips the Saints to 2-6 and 1-2 in the GNAC.

New Haven, Conn. – Emmanuel College freshman Andrea Liddell (Weymouth, Mass.) scored three goals to power the women's lacrosse team past Albertus Magnus College, 11-7, in GNAC action on Saturday morning at Celentano Field.

WOMEN’S LACROSSE HOLDS ON FOR 9-8 WIN OVER FRAMINGHAM STATE

BOSTON, Mass. – The Emmanuel College women’s lacrosse team held on for a 9-8 win over Framingham State University in non-conference action Wednesday evening at Roberto Clemente Field. The Saints led by four goals with under eight minutes to play before the Rams made things interesting but EC held on for its first win of the year to improve to 1-5 overall while the loss drops FSU to 5-3.

WOMEN'S LACROSSE EDGED BY LASELL IN GNAC OPENER

NEWTON, Mass. (3/25/17) -- The Lasell College women’s lacrosse team held on to win a defensive battle in Saturday afternoon’s Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) opener on Grellier Field, scoring four times in the first half en route to a 7-6 decision over the Saints of Emmanuel College.

REGIS CLAWS PAST EMMANUEL WOMEN’S LACROSSE, 10-6

BOSTON, Mass. – Freshman attack Kerri Anselmo (Natick, Mass.) registered five points on four goals and one assist to power Regis College to a 10-6 victory over Emmanuel College Tuesday evening in non-conference women’s lacrosse action at Roberto Clemente Field. The Pride stay perfect with the victory and improve to 5-0 on the year while the Saints are still in search of their first win, falling to 0-4 overall.
