Erskine Named GNAC Rookie of the Week For Second Time
WINTRHOP, Mass. – Emmanuel College sophomore Alec Erskine (Coventry, Conn.) has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week, it was announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon. This marks the second time this season Erskine has earned the honor, also being tabbed the GNAC Rookie of the Week back on September 9.

The Coventry, Conn. native played a big part in the Saints 2-0 week last week, collecting five points on two goals and one assist. Erskine netted the game-winner in a 3-1 victory over Wentworth Institute of Technology while also registering an assist in the win. He then added another game-winning goal in a 2-0 victory over Regis College in GNAC action later in the week.
Erskine currently leads Emmanuel in goals (7) and points (15) while ranking tied for fourth in the GNAC in goals and fifth overall in the conference in points.
The Saints are currently 4-4 on the year and 1-1 in GNAC play. EC returns to action on Wednesday, October 2 when they face off against Rivier University at 7:00 PM in Nashua, N.H.
