SAINTS WELL REPRESENTED ON 2018-19 GNAC ACADEMIC ALL-CONFERENCE SQUAD
WINTHROP, Mass. – Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Commissioner Joe Walsh is pleased to announce the 2018-19 Academic All-Conference Teams, as 1,030 student-athletes have garnered recognition this year. In order to be eligible, a student must have a 3.25 cumulative grade point average during the academic year and have reached second-year academic status.

BOSTON, Mass. – On Saturday, April 27, members from the Emmanuel College Men’s Soccer, Men’s Basketball, Women’s Soccer and Women’s Basketball teams participated in the College’s Spring Day of Service at sites around the city.

MEN'S SOCCER WINS BOSTON SPRING INVITATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
EAST BOSTON, Mass. – The Emmanuel College men’s soccer team was crowned the 2019 Boston Spring Invitational Champions after an exciting afternoon of soccer hosted by Suffolk University at East Boston Memorial Stadium. The Saints picked up a 1-1 draw against Pine Manor College and finished the day with a 3-0 victory over Suffolk to take home the crown.

COLE & DANIELIAN NAMED TO ALL-GNAC SQUAD; MEN'S SOCCER EARNS SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD
WINTHROP, Mass. – Senior defender Travis Cole (Beckley, W.V.) and freshman forward Robert Danielian (Watertown, Mass.) have been selected to the 2018 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer All-Conference team, it was announced on Monday afternoon by the conference office. Both players earn Third Team honors while sophomore Morgan Mercier (Lincolnville, Maine) was named to the GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team. The men’s soccer program was also recognized by the conference, earning the Institutional Sportsmanship Award as voted on by the GNAC Men’s Soccer Head Coaches.

BOSTON, Mass. - Men's Soccer freshman goalkeeper Vincent Conelli (West Hartford, Conn.) has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Goalkeeper and Rookie of the Week, it was announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

STANDISH, Maine – Junior Cody Elliott (Gorham, Maine) scored in the 77th minute to propel #5/10 Saint Joseph’s College (18-0-0) past Emmanuel College (5-11-2), 1-0, in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tournament Quarterfinal at the SJC Athletics Complex on Friday evening.

Emmanuel College’s men’s soccer team fell to the USJ Blue Jays in a double overtime Great Northeast Athletic Conference matchup on Saturday, October 20th, thanks to a 107th minute goal by freshman midfielder Jared Galarza (Newington, Conn.).

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – With playoff position implications on the line Wednesday, the Johnson & Wales University men's soccer team scored a 3-0 win over Emmanuel College to keep pace in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference standings. The Wildcats took a 2-0 lead with two long distance attempts in the first half then finished the job with a goal midway through the last frame.

The honor marks the fourth time of the keeper's career that he's been recognized by the conference.
