DAN ROBERTS NAMED MEN’S SOCCER HEAD COACH
BOSTON, Mass. – Following a national search, the Emmanuel College Athletic Department is pleased to announce the hire of Dan Roberts as the Head Men’s Soccer Coach. Roberts becomes just the third head coach in the program’s 14-year history and takes over the role from Colin Goin who stepped down earlier this year after serving in the position for seven seasons.

GOIN STEPS DOWN AS MEN’S SOCCER HEAD COACH
BOSTON, Mass. – Following ten years of coaching the Emmanuel College Men’s Soccer team, Head Coach Colin Goin has announced that he stepped down from his position, effective immediately. Goin notified the Athletic Department administration and the Men’s Soccer team of his decision on Monday, January 25.

FIELD NAMED TO ECAC NEW ENGLAND ALL-STAR TEAM
DANBURY, Conn. – Senior David Field (Laguna Niguel, Calif.) has been named to the 2015 ECAC Men's Soccer Division III New England All-Star team, it was announced by the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference office today. This marks the first time in Emmanuel College men’s soccer history that a team representative has been honored by the ECAC on an All-New England squad.

FIELD & SAINATO EARN GNAC ALL-CONFERENCE HONORS
BOSTON, Mass. – Seniors David Field (Laguna Niguel, Calif.) and Stefano Sainato (Albany, N.Y.) have been named to the 2015 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Men's Soccer All Conference Team, it was announced by the conference office today. Field makes his third consecutive appearance on the All-Conference team, earning First Team honors this season while Sainato earns Third Team honors for the first time in his collegiate career.

SAINTS FALL 1-0 TO NORWICH IN GNAC QUARTERFINALS
NORTHFIELD, Vt. – Sophomore defender Noah Schiers (South Weber, Utah) scored in the 83rd minute to lift the Norwich University men’s soccer team over Emmanuel College, 1-0 in the opening round of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Sunday afternoon at the Sabine Field at Haynes Family Stadium.

MEN’S SOCCER TO FACE NORWICH IN GNAC QUARTERFINALS
BOSTON, Mass. – The Emmanuel College men’s soccer team will travel to Northfield, Vt. to take on Norwich University in the 2015 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Quarterfinals this Sunday, November 1 with kickoff scheduled for 1:00 PM. The Saints earn the No. 5 seed in the eight-team field for the program’s highest-ever seeding while the Cadets boast the No. 4 seed, seeking the programs fifth GNAC title.

SUFFOLK UPENDS SAINTS ON SENIOR DAY
BOSTON, Mass. - Second half goals by two Suffolk freshmen lifted the Rams Men's Soccer team to a stunning 2-1 road victory over Emmanuel College at Clemente Field on Saturday afternoon. The Rams improved 2-14-1 overall with the win and 2-6-1 in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC). Emmanuel falls to 5-10-1 and 4-4-1 in the GNAC, and will either travel to Norwich as the #5 seed or St. Joseph's (ME) as the #6 seed, depending on the result of Albertus Magnus vs. Johnson & Wales tonight.

MEN'S SOCCER SETTLES FOR 2-2 DRAW WITH RIVIER
NASHUA, N.H. - A second half goal from senior Edward Soucie (South Ryegate, Vt.) knotted things up at 2-2 and that’s how it finished as the Rivier University Men’s Soccer team earned a point with a tie against Emmanuel College in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference contest at Raider Field this evening.

MOUNT IDA HOLDS OFF LATE EMMANUEL CHARGE FOR 3-2 WIN
BOSTON, Mass. - The Emmanuel College Men's Soccer team scored twice in the final ten minutes of regulation, but Juan Brenes' second goal of the season in the 84th minute served as the game-winner in a 3-2 victory for Mount Ida at Clemente Field on Saturday afternoon. The Mustangs improve to 9-4-1 overall and 5-1-1 in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC), while the Saints fall to 5-9 and 4-3 in the GNAC.

FRESHMEN LEAD JWU PAST MEN'S SOCCER
BOSTON, Mass. - The Johnson & Wales Men's Soccer team scored five first half goals on its way to a 7-2 win over Emmanuel College in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon at Clemente Field. Tucker MacPherson scored twice and added an assist to lead the Wildcats to their fourth GNAC win, improving their overall record to 9-4 and 4-1 in the conference. The Saints fall to 4-8 overall and 3-2 in the GNAC with the loss.

BOSTON, Mass. – The Emmanuel College Men’s Soccer team was upended by Daniel Webster College on Wednesday night, falling 2-0 in a non-conference tilt at Roberto Clemente Field. The loss drops the Saints to 4-7 (3-1 GNAC), while Daniel Webster improves to 9-3 (3-0 NECC).

Emmanuel improves to 4-4 on the season and the Saints remained undefeated in GNAC action at 3-0 while the loss drops Lasell to 1-5 overall and 1-2 in conference play.
