Bio

Coach Marcus Young joined the Emmanuel college athletic department in the fall of 2017. A graduate of Syracuse University, Coach Young has been working as an educator since 2000, most recently at the Winsor School, where he serves as the Director of Technology. 

Since the summer of 2000, Young has been coaching lacrosse year round. In addition to serving as a men’s assistant at Gordon College for three seasons, Young also served as the boy’s varsity head coach at the Brookwood School for six years and as a head coach and associate director for NESLL club lacrosse. In the offseason, he runs private clinics and has worked with several camps including the Boston Cannons, Origin Lacrosse, and his own club, the New England Pride. 

Marcus currently resides in Revere, Mass. with his wife Shalise and their four children, Ronsanto, Jordyn, Simone, and Harper.
