SAINTS FALL TO HAWKS, 16-7
BOSTON, MASS. - The men’s lacrosse team lost a non-conference game Saturday against Hartwick College as the Hawks were able to put up 16 goals on the Saints while EC only tallied seven in the contest.

THE LEAD: The men's lacrosse team lost a non-conference game Saturday against Hartwick College as the Hawks were able to put up 16 goals on the Saints while EC only tallied seven in the contest.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Sophomore Tim Watson (Wrentham, Mass.) scored the first goal of the game for the Hawks at the 9:24 mark to put the visitors up 1-0.
- The Saints' first goal was netted by senior Matt Katon less than two minutes later (East Falmouth, Mass.) to tie the game, 1-1.
- Senior Ben Hartig-Orr (Reading, Vt.) scored another one for the Saints with an assist from sophomore Joe Cuticelli (Madison, Conn.), 2-1, to give the Saints their only lead of the day.
- The Hawks tied it up in the second quarter at the 14:21 mark with a goal from sophomore Justin Curreri (Miller Place, N.Y.) assisted by junior David Demand (Chittenango, N.Y.), 2-2.
- Within the next five minutes, the Hawks took the lead, 4-2, with goals from sophomore Alec Lind (Ballston Lake, N.Y.) and senior Sam Ferguson (Baldwin, N.Y.)
- The Hawks netted five more goals to extend their lead and close out the first half, 9-2.
- The Hawks scored two goals within the first two minutes of the second half before Emmanuel closed the gap with one from Hartig-Orr, 11-3.
- Demand and Watson each scored one more for the Hawks before the end of the third quarter, 13-3.
- In competitive back and forth action in the fourth quarter, the Saints netted three more and the Hawks netted four more to the close the game out, 16-7.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Sam Ferguson and David Demand led the way for the Hawks with four goals apiece along with three assists and four ground balls.
- Ben Hartig-Orr of the Saints scored three of the seven goals for EC while teammate Katon scored a pair along with two ground balls.

- The Hawks will be hosting The Sage Colleges at Wright Stadium on Wednesday, April 10th at 4PM in an Empire 8 matchup.
