CROSS COUNTRY RUNS WELL AT NEW ENGLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS

GORHAM, Maine - Emmanuel College wrapped the 2017 cross country campaign racing at the NCAA Division III New England Championships on Saturday afternoon. Hosted by the University of Southern Maine, the Men’s race saw MIT bring home the title with 81 points while the Engineers also captured the Women’s race for a sweep.  Emmanuel ran well in their final race of the season as the women finished 31st out of 56 teams while the men finished 33rd out of 55 teams competing.

CROSS COUNTRY HAS STRONG SHOWING AT GNAC CHAMPIONSHIPS; FORESTER EARNS ROOKIE OF THE YEAR HONORS

BRISTOL, R.I. - Norwich University won both the women's and men's races on Saturday afternoon to sweep the 2017 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Cross Country Championships, which took place at Colt State Park. Emmanuel College had a strong showing in both races as the Men earned Runner Up honors in the 10 team field while the women placed third overall in the 12 team field.

CROSS COUNTRY HOSTS 12TH ANNUAL SAINTS INVITATIONAL AT FRANKLIN PARK

BOSTON, Mass. - Emmanuel College hosted the 12th Annual Saints Invitational Cross Country race Friday afternoon at the historic Franklin Park course. Gordon College took home the women's team crown while Wentworth Institute of Technology captured the men's title. The host Saints finished fifth overall in the women's race and seventh on the men's side.

CROSS COUNTRY VOLUNTEERS AT 14TH ANNUAL HONAN 5K

WINTHROP, Mass. ? Nearly 100 student-athletes, coaches, and administrators from the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) gathered this past Sunday, September 24th to volunteer their time at the 14th Annual Brian J. Honan 5K Run/Walk in Allston, Mass.

CROSS COUNTRY RUNS HARD AT THE 49TH CODFISH BOWL

BOSTON, Mass.- The Emmanuel College cross country team competed hard this weekend at the 49th annual Codfish Bowl in Franklin Park, Boston Mass. The women's squad finished 13th overall while the men's team placed ninth.

CARTY NAMED CORVIAS GNAC RUNNER OF THE WEEK FOR SECOND TIME

BOSTON, Mass. – Emmanuel College sophomore Patrick Carty (Sweeden, Maine) has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week.  Carty's weekly conference honor comes after leading the Saints at the Bowdoin Invitational on Saturday.  Carty raced to a 17th place finish out of the field of 105 total runners on the course up in Brunswick, Maine.

CROSS COUNTRY RACES AT BOWDOIN INVITATIONAL

BRUNSWICK, Maine- The Emmanuel College men’s and women’s Cross Country teams competed against eight other institutions Saturday afternoon in the Bowdoin Invitational. Both squads finished sixth in their respective team races as the host Polar Bears captured the crown in both races.

PATRICK CARTY EARNS GNAC RUNNER OF THE WEEK HONORS

BOSTON, Mass. - Emmanuel Sophomore Patrick Carty (Sweden, Maine) was named the GNAC Corvias Men's Runner of the Week by the conference offices on Monday afternoon. Carty earned the honors following a second place showing in the opening week of the season at the Fens Classic.

GONSOR FINISHES FIRST AND THE SAINTS SWEEP

BOSTON, Mass.- The Emmanuel College cross country team swept the competition this weekend at the Fens Classic on their home course at The Fens. The women's squad finished first overall after placing the top five runners and nine of the top 11 spots for a total of 15 points.  The men’s team was also victorious with 34 total points and two runners placing in the top three.
