FITZPATRICK HAS TWO TOP FOUR FINISHES AT RIC INVITE
Freshman Hannah Fitzpatrick (Revere, Mass.) finished the day with a second place finish in the 1000 meter race and a fourth place finish in the mile, leading the Emmanuel College indoor track teams at the Rhode Island College Track & Field Invitational in Providence, Mass. on Saturday, December 8th.

THE LEAD: Freshman Hannah Fitzpatrick (Revere, Mass.) finished the day with a second place finish in the 1000 meter race and a fourth place finish in the mile, leading the Emmanuel College indoor track teams at the Rhode Island College Track & Field Invitational in Providence, R.I. on Saturday, December 9th.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- For the women, Fitzpatrick finished her day with a second place title with a 3:13.58 time in the 1000 meter final, just five seconds behind the race winner, and also finished fourth in the mile with a 5:35.81 time, only 13 seconds behind first.
- Fellow classmate Haley Boisvert (Merrimack, N.H.) competed in her first collegiate 600 meter race on Saturday and finished with a time of 1:55.71 collecting fifth place on the afternoon.
- Sophomore sprinter Jake Cavanaugh (Redding, Conn.) was the leader of the men's team finishing the day with a third place finish in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 9.43 and a ninth place finish in the 600 meter race with a time of 1:36.48.
- Matthew Cronin (Coventry, R.I.) closed out the day for the Saints with a fifth place finish in the 1000 meter race with a time of 3:17.18 and 15th place in the 3000 meter with a time of 10:22.33.

- The Saints head into a well-deserved break for the holidays and will compete again on January 12th, 2019 at the Tufts Invite in Medford, Mass.
