Bio

Coach Seals became Emmanuel's Head Women's Volleyball Coach in 2007 after serving as the Saints' Assistant Coach for five seasons. She also serves as the department's Senior Woman Administrator (SWA) for the NCAA.

At the helm of the EC program, Seals has led the Saints to the GNAC Tournament 11 times and to the ECAC Tournament three different times ('09, '11, '13).  Behind her leadership, the program has tallied 183 wins and an impressive GNAC mark of 100-43 (.699) over the past 13 years.

She has twice been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Women's Volleyball Coach of the Year, earning the honor in back-to-back seasons in 2013 and 2014.

Coach Seals brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Emmanuel volleyball program. She began her coaching career at the Junior Olympic level for a local volleyball club, Smash Juniors. She later accepted a position as Head Varsity Volleyball Coach at Somerville High School. In four years at Somerville, she led her volleyball program to two consecutive state tournament appearances, for the first time in the school's history.

Seals is a former Division I player from Fairleigh Dickinson University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1997. In 2007, Seals was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame at FDU.  As a collegiate player, Seals was a four-year 1st Team All-Conference selection for the North East Conference. In her freshman season, she was the North East Conference Newcomer of the Year. By her junior and senior seasons, Seals was named team captain and selected the Most Valuable Player. She was also named Female Athlete of the Year and Woman of the Year for the New Jersey Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women in 1997.

Coach Seals currently works full-time at the Brigham and Women's Hospital as the Director, Radiology Research Finance. In the fall of 2010, Coach Seals earned a Graduate Certificate in Research Administration at Emmanuel College and completed her Masters in Management in 2011.
